Hi! I'm Briana, maker, and doer behind all things Sun & Lace. I started this business five years ago when I was on the hunt for quality, unique shoes for my then nine-month-old son. I wasn't finding what I was looking for, so I decided to make him a pair (which quickly became two pairs, then three and four!). I figured there were other boy mommas out there that may have been looking for the same thing, so I thought I'd help them out and open up a shop!

STATE bags was founded by Jacqueline and Scot after witnessing students carrying their belongings in torn trash bags. Scot’s experience collaborating with The Mark Wahlberg Foundation and The Boys and Girls Club to create Camp Northbound and Jacqueline’s time as an Executive Assistant at Kenneth Cole and Assistant Buyer at Scoop and Henri Bendel, allowed them to create a bag brand that impacts families in need through innovative giving initiatives and the #WhatDoWeTellTheKids platform.
